Our Simplified Process
For Avon High School
01 Challenge
Avon High School faced the challenge of modernizing its campus to support future growth, enhance safety, and improve outdated infrastructure. Key issues included limited athletic facilities, traffic congestion, and insufficient parking capacity, all of which required a comprehensive multi-phased expansion. The project demanded innovative solutions to meet regulatory standards, streamline construction, and address stormwater management.
02 Solution
The Veridus team, in partnership with Performance Services, Inc. and Context Design, led a design-build approach to streamline assessments, permitting, and construction. Phase I focused on critical upgrades, including building additions, parking lot reconfigurations, and a redesigned bus lot for better traffic flow. Phase II expanded athletic facilities, incorporated underground stormwater detention systems, and improved campus access with a future main collector road while coordinating closely with the Town of Avon.
03 Results
The project has optimized traffic flow, increased parking efficiency, and delivered state-of-the-art athletic facilities, including competition tennis courts and new practice fields. Innovative stormwater management solutions now support a 90.73-acre watershed, ensuring long-term sustainability.
